Since childhood, Otza has explored hatching as a drawing technique, which he has naturally integrated into his compositions. Thus, this blend of waves and hatching creates a composition on the canvas, capturing the natural flow of ideas and emotions.

Each work tells an idea, a dream, an emotion, and guides the viewer through a world that is sometimes blurred, utopian, or unstable. The colors and the rhythm of the shapes reveal the atmosphere he seeks to convey.
In several of his works, a discreet character named Beltza hides within the environment. His presence allows viewers to project themselves into the painting, to create a connection with the work, transforming observation into a game and a discovery.
With his “wild exhibition” approach, he goes out to meet the public, transforms the city into a living gallery, and accompanies his works with labels like in a museum, to create a direct and lively dialogue.
